1. Low-Surface-Energy Superhydrophobic & Anti-Fouling Coating Monomer
This acrylate-functional trisiloxane monomer possesses a symmetrical cage-like trimethylsiloxane structure and polymerizable acrylic double bond. It can be covalently grafted into acrylic resin systems through free radical copolymerization, endowing the coating with permanent low surface energy characteristics. Different from traditional physically blended silane modifiers, it avoids migration, precipitation and failure problems. The modified coating exhibits excellent superhydrophobicity, anti-graffiti performance, dust resistance and stain resistance, which is suitable for high-performance self-cleaning coatings and long-term protective films.
2. High-Weather-Resistant UV-Curable Transparent Coating Intermediate
With non-hydrolyzable and chlorine-free stable siloxane skeleton, this monomer will not produce acidic substances during construction and curing. It can significantly improve the UV resistance, thermal oxidation stability and weather resistance of UV-cured acrylic coatings, effectively solving the common defects of pure acrylic materials such as easy yellowing, poor wear resistance and low water resistance. It is widely used in optical transparent protective coatings, electronic device surface coatings and outdoor transparent weather-resistant materials.
3. Interface Compatibility Modifier for Organic-Inorganic Hybrid Materials
The flexible propyl chain and inorganic trisiloxane cage structure enable the monomer to bridge organic polymer segments and inorganic functional segments. It effectively improves the interfacial compatibility between silicone components and acrylic resin matrices, eliminates interface defects such as micro-voids and delamination, and enhances the compactness, mechanical strength and scratch resistance of composite materials.
4. High-Performance Water-Based Functional Emulsion Modifier
Benefiting from excellent water tolerance and no hydrolysis failure, this monomer can be directly copolymerized in water-based emulsion systems to prepare silicon-modified acrylic emulsions. It significantly improves the water resistance, scrub resistance and weather durability of water-based coatings, solving the technical bottleneck that traditional chlorosilane and hydrolyzable silane cannot be applied in water-based systems.
